Physiological and biochemical aspects of tomato seedlings treated with prohexadione-calcium

The objective of this experiment was to study the effects different concentrations plant growth regulators prohexadione-calcium (ProCa) on control tomato seedlings. conducted in forest seedling nursery Faculty Agronomic Sciences - UNESP, Botucatu Campus-SP. experimental design completely randomized, composed five treatments: 0, 50, 100, 200 and 400 mg active ingredient (a.i.) ProCa, with 4 replicates 30 Treatments were applied a manual CO2 sprayer when seedlings completed 20 days after sowing. Ten applying treatments, analysis, SPAD index, gas exchange, chlorophyll fluorescence biochemical analyses all performed. From results obtained, conclusion that ProCa inhibited without compromising photosynthetic apparatus.
